WhatsApp API pricing: both bills, in full.
Two companies bill you. Anyone quoting a single number is either simplifying or selling.
Meta charges per message delivered; we charge for the platform. Both are below, with the date we last checked Meta's card. The rate table is the same one on the homepage — this page exists so the money question has a URL of its own.
Simple, honest pricing. Two costs, both shown.
There are two costs on WhatsApp: what you pay us, and what Meta charges per message. Here are both.

Meta's per-message rate
Meta charges per delivered message. These are Meta's India rates from 1 October 2026 — the same numbers on your Meta invoice.
| Message type | What it is | India rate |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing | Offers, launches, cart recovery, re-engagement | ₹0.8631 |
| Utility | Order updates, booking confirmations, payment receipts | ₹0.115 |
| Authentication | One-time passwords | ₹0.115 |
| Service | Replies inside the 24-hour window | Free for the first 1,000 per number per month, then ₹0.115 |
| Authentication — international | OTP to an Indian number from a business registered outside India | ₹2.4971 |
Rates apply to messages delivered to Indian (+91) numbers from a business registered in India. The ₹2.4971 authentication rate is the one line on Meta's card an order of magnitude above the rest, so it is listed rather than left to surprise you.
AI replies are not on that card. Runs on your own OpenAI key — you pay OpenAI directly for what it uses.
Meta's per-message rate is passed through at cost: Meta bills your own Meta account directly, so the rate in this table is the rate on your Meta invoice. We add nothing to it.
Verified 27 October 2026 · next review due 1 January 2027. Meta's stated calendar is quarterly — 1 January, 1 April, 1 July, 1 October — with at least one month's notice of a rate change and six months' notice of a model change. A rate change is announced before it is billed.
Worked examples
10,000 marketing messages a month: ₹8,631 in Meta charges (10,000 × ₹0.8631). Billed by Meta to your own account — we add nothing to it.
5,000 service replies: 1,000 free, then 4,000 × ₹0.115 = ₹460 in Meta charges.
₹8,631 is what Meta charges for those messages at its published India rate, billed to your own Meta account. It is not your total bill — the platform fee is separate.
The cheapest thing you can do on WhatsApp is classify correctly. A delivery update with a discount code in it becomes a marketing message and costs 7.5× more. We tag templates by category before they go to Meta.

Yes — Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. That matters: unofficial senders get numbers banned, and there is no appeal.
Meta's India rate by category: marketing ₹0.8631, utility ₹0.115, authentication ₹0.115, service ₹0.115 after the first 1,000 free per number each month.
You pay Meta directly, at Meta's published India rate, billed to your own Meta account. We add no markup: marketing messages are ₹0.8631 each, utility and authentication ₹0.115, and the first 1,000 service replies per number per month are free. Our platform fee is separate.
The first 1,000 service messages per number each month are free. After that, ₹0.115. This changed on 1 October 2026.
Yes — AI-assisted replies are part of the product. AI replies run on your own OpenAI key. You add an OpenAI API key to your account and pay OpenAI directly for what it uses; we do not meter AI messages or add a charge on top.
Only on utility and authentication, and not at your scale: Indian utility pricing doesn't start discounting until 25 million messages a month, and marketing has no volume tiers at all.
You do. Meta bills your own Meta account directly for every message delivered, at its published India rate, and we never sit between you and Meta on that charge. Our platform fee is a separate line.
Only if it's used the way grey-market senders use it. On the official API, with opt-in lists and approved templates, your quality rating protects you — we monitor it and warn you before Meta does.
Meta supports both onboarding routes. Which one applies depends on the number — where the coexistence flow is available we onboard that way, so the WhatsApp Business app keeps working on the same number, and otherwise it is Cloud API only. We confirm before you sign up.
Live in 48 hours once Meta business verification clears. Meta's own stated turnaround is up to 14 business days, and if you're already verified we can usually start the same week.
Export your contacts any time. Your number stays yours. Plans are annual contracts, and if you leave before the year is out the unused months are refunded pro-rata.
Yes — and we fix rejections, so campaigns don't stall in review.
Stored in Mumbai, with per-agent access control and opt-outs honoured automatically.
Yes — 1, 3 or 5 users by plan. Several agents work the same number on one shared inbox, and each conversation is assigned to an owner so two people do not answer the same customer.
