Chatbots

WhatsApp chatbot for business: what it can qualify, and what it costs

A chatbot that only presses menu buttons is an answering machine. The useful version asks the questions your team keeps forgetting, routes the answer to a person, and hands over a lead that is already qualified.

What a LetSend chatbot actually does

It qualifies, not just menus. The bot answers the questions customers ask first, collects the answers your team needs — budget, city, product, timeline — and then routes the conversation to a person with that context attached. Built in the panel, without an API integration.

That is the difference between a bot that says "press 1 for sales" and one that hands a salesperson a lead that has already answered the first four questions.

AI-assisted replies, on your own OpenAI key

Where a fixed script will not do, AI-assisted replies answer the open question in the customer's own words. AI replies run on your own OpenAI key. You add an OpenAI API key to your account and pay OpenAI directly for what it uses; we do not meter AI messages or add a charge on top.

In practice: you add an OpenAI API key to your account, OpenAI bills you for what it uses, and there is no AI line on our invoice because there is no AI charge of ours to print.

Automation rules across the lead flow

Around the conversation, rules do the work nobody remembers to do: assignment to the right owner, follow-up reminders on a schedule, and stage moves in the pipeline when a lead replies or goes quiet. Those rules run on the CRM side — see what the platform covers end to end.

What it costs

Chatbots are included in every plan; the plans differ on how many you get. The entry plan is ₹6,999/year.

PlanPrice per yearChatbotsUsersContacts
Starter₹6,9991115,000
Growth₹9,9992330,000
Business₹14,9993550,000

An additional chatbot is ₹999/year, the same as an additional user. The capability is identical on all three plans — what changes is scale, not features. The full plan ladder and Meta's per-message rate sit on one page.

Four flows, worked through

These are illustrative flows, not customer case studies — no client is described here, and none of them is a promise about results.

  • Real estate — site-visit booking. The bot asks budget, locality and possession date, offers the next two slots, and books the visit into the calendar with the answers on the lead record.
  • Coaching — batch enquiry to counsellor. Course, batch timing and fee range collected in the chat, then routed to the counsellor for that course instead of a general inbox.
  • Clinic — appointment reminder and reschedule. A reminder goes out before the slot; if the patient replies to reschedule, the bot collects the new preference and assigns it to the front desk.
  • Retail — order status to human handoff. Order number collected, status answered, then handed to a person the moment the question turns into a complaint.

What a chatbot does not do

It does not put you outside Meta's rules. A message your business starts is still a template Meta approves, the 24-hour customer service window still applies, and a list that never opted in is still a list that gets a number restricted. If that is the part you are worried about, WhatsApp broadcast limits covers it properly.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AI chatbot included in the plan?

Yes — AI-assisted replies are part of the product. AI replies run on your own OpenAI key. You add an OpenAI API key to your account and pay OpenAI directly for what it uses; we do not meter AI messages or add a charge on top.

How many chatbots do I get?

One on Starter, two on Growth and three on Business. The capability is the same on every plan; the count is one of the three things you buy more of, next to users and contacts.

Do I need to write code to build a chatbot?

No. It is built in the panel, without an API integration: a flow of questions and answers, with routing to a person when the answer needs one.
